About | Frequently Asked Questions

What should I expect when visiting?

We want you and your family to feel welcome and loved the moment you enter. We have a casual atmosphere. You can relax by Samara Coffee and Tea, around our bistro tables and fireplace. We have great music and powerful worship where you will connect with God. Our messages and teaching are relevant to your daily life. We have amazing programs for children from newborn to 6th grade. We invite you to experience the friendliest church in town.

Who will I meet at Grove Christian Center?

We are an ethnically diverse community. There are many families with young children. There are some who have been in church their whole life and others who are brand new to the church experience. No matter who you are, you will be greeted with a warm smile and welcomed by the friendliest people in town!

What is available for my children?

We have nurseries for children under two years old and for toddlers. We have a preschool class called Bible Mountain for ages 4 and 5. Our Kid's Church is for grades 1-6. Although our children’s ministries are offered during the entire length of the worship service, you may certainly have your children remain with you in the sanctuary. more»

How will I know if my baby needs me and is in the nursery?

We have a Children’s Central Check-in. When you check your child into the nursery you will receive a pager. If your child needs you, nursery workers will page you.

How should I dress for morning worship?

We have a casual and comfortable atmosphere. You will see some wearing ties while others are wearing jeans and t-shirts. Dress as casual or as dressy as you would like.

Will I be asked to give money?

While members and regular attenders give to help support the ministry of the church, we do not want our guests to feel obligated to give money. Instead, enjoy meeting new people and have a free choice of a beverage from our Samara coffee bar.
